Join us as we host special guests Joan Trumpauer, Thomas Armstrong, Claire O'Connor, Zev Aelony who were Freedom Riders in 1961 Mississippi. Also Becky Brenner who was jailed in Alabama in 1966 for her part in the struggle. These guests were jailed aome were even charged with the Dealth Penalty for Registering Voters. Many participated in sit-ins to integrate southern lunch counters.
